Municipal Market Table Vending Policy Details
Purpose |
It is the policy of this organization to provide opportunities for locally made and locally grown products to be sold at the market. We reserve the right to limit the sale of items which may compete or conflict with any of our full-time merchants. The table vending space is open throughout the year with some limitations. Spaces are available on Monday – Saturday (some exceptions may apply.) |
Scope |
There is limited floor space. The Market personnel determine the location of the table vending space. Only spaces assigned may be occupied by vendors. |
Policy |
Approval Process
• Complete the Table Vending Application.
• Sign the Table Vending Policy.
• Read the FAQs and review the Market Map for space assignments.
• The Atlanta Municipal Market will confirm approval and grant or deny eligibility.
• Vending hours: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. If a vendor is more than 15 minutes late, the assigned space will be reassigned. and they could lose their ability to vend for the day.
• Vendors must set up 30 minutes before starting time.
• Notify lateness via email: dorthey@municipalmarketatl.com.
• Cancellations require 24-hour notice. No notice = vendor charged for the day.
Space Availability & Setup • Vendors should bring:
• One 6 ft. table or smaller (no L-shaped tables)
• Chairs, tablecloth, signage, and merchandising materials.
• Chefs: water supply available.
• Vendors must use assigned space only and confirm assignments before arrival, no later than Thursday.
Requests & Invoicing • All vending requests must be sent through Calendly, an online calendar app, including desired dates.
• Invoices are processed Monday–Wednesday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
• Requests outside these times must be scheduled for the following week.
• Cancellations are through the app.
Payment • Invoice Timing: Invoices are issued two days before the scheduled vending date.
• Payment Deadline: All invoices must be paid no later than the day before vending.
• Unpaid invoices will result in loss of vending privileges for that date. • No-show fees are forfeited. Please provide 24-hour notice for cancellations.
• All tables, chairs, and merchandise must be removed daily.
• Vending area must be clean at the end of the day.
• Food vendors must have:
• ServSafe Certification, or
• Fulton County License + ServSafe Certification.
• Insurance in some cases.
• Include a copy of your license and certification with your completed application.
• Each vendor is responsible for collecting and reporting their own sales taxes, where applicable.
• All Municipal Market rules apply to table vendors. If management asks you to follow a rule, please comply.
• All items sold must have visible pricing either with a tag or a sign.
• Vendors are not allowed to vend or place tables in the doorway or fire lanes.
• Stay updated by reading all communications from management.
• Security staff are not responsible for helping vendors find their assigned location. Vendors must know their assignment before arrival and no later than Thursday of their vending week. Questions should be directed to management.
• Prohibited: firearms, alcoholic beverages, drugs, pets (except service animals), loud music inside the Market.
• No leaflets, flyers, or cards on car windows in the parking lot.
• Assigned Spaces Only – Table vendors must work exclusively in the common areas assigned by management.
• No Children Allowed – Children are strictly prohibited in common areas or any other vendor spaces.
• Market Hours: Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
• False or deceptive product representation may result in removal from the Table Vending Program.
• Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Atlanta Municipal Market from any claim of damage or loss to vendor’s business, merchandise, or equipment.
• Table vendors must report monthly sales to help the Market track performance.
• Management will provide an online link with the template required information.
• Reports are due by the 10th of each month for the previous month.
• Non-compliance will result in removal of your reserved vending time from the calendar.
• Signs should be placed behind your assigned space, if space allows (e.g., near Pole 1).
• No signs in the Market’s main entrance, aisles, or blocking leased merchants’ spaces.
• In some locations, signs may not be feasible.
• Vendors must never move Market signs to place their own.
• In certain areas, the installation of signs may not be practicable.Management has final authority on sign placement.
The parking company determines the rates, which are currently $20 per day or as displayed on-site. • Optional Discounted Parking:
• Vendors can opt for discounted parking.
• The daily table vendor fee + discounted parking creates your daily fee.
• To receive the discount:
▪ Validate your parking pass and take it to management for a stamp.
▪ Without a stamp, the gate agent will require full payment.
• Follow the Atlanta Police Department’s Clean Car Campaign:
• Do not leave valuables in your car. |

New Rates • Monday – Saturday $45 per day/Plus $14 Parking
• Curb – $55 per day/Plus $14 Parking
* Higher fees for market specific spaces.

Non-Compliance Policy Acknowledgment I acknowledge that I have read and understand the Atlanta Municipal Market Table Vending Guidelines and Policies. I agree to comply with all rules, procedures, and requirements outlined by the Market. I acknowledge that if payment is not made the day before the vending date, I will not be allowed to set up or sell at the Market. |
VENDOR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I understand that failure to comply with the Municipal Market policies may result in:
• Immediate removal from the Table Vending Program
• Cancellation of reserved vending dates.
• Forfeiture of any fees paid.
By signing below, I agree to abide by all policies and accept the consequences of non-compliance.
PARKING OPT-OUT STATEMENT
I acknowledge that discounted parking is available as part of the vendor agreement; however, I choose to opt out of parking for the duration of my vending period. I understand that by opting out, I will not be invoiced for discounted parking and will make my own arrangements.
